Four quarters. A whole robot.
You do the math.

Mission

Some jobs are dangerous. Some are impossible. Some are both — in open country, in fire season, in places a truck can't go. We build teleoperated quadrupeds so skilled operators work from safety while the machine takes the heat, the cold, the dark, and the occasional lightning strike.

And because attention is its own hazard, ours doesn't ask to be noticed.

Blend in. Get it done.

zebra chassis

Four legs, four quarters, zero identity crisis. A quadruped platform with friction-locked joints that holds position on any grade all day for free, carries designed-for-human tools on a quick-swap dorsal rail, and has never once asked to be a biped.

active camouflage

Stripes aren't decoration; they're doctrine. Electrochromic panels shift from dazzle to drab in under a second — dazzle to confuse rangefinders, drab to disappear into the job site. The first work robot engineered to be excellent and unremarkable at the same time.

herd redundancy

One robot is a single point of failure. Zebress ships in herds. Any unit can carry any other unit's tools, take over any other unit's task, and — thanks to the stripes — be mistaken for any other unit in front of the client.

this robot is harder to see than it looks

…which is precisely the point, and also the hazard. So Fourquarters fails loud: lose system pressure and spring brakes lock all sixteen joints while every panel snaps to high-visibility dazzle white. It slows to a crawl at standard doorways, cannot turn around in a narrow hallway, and in blaze mode is visible from roughly one county away. Two Fourquarters fit in a full-size pickup bed — crouched, and visibly resentful.
